Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), a leading provider of cyber security solutions globally, today announced that its Check Point SandBlast Agent advanced endpoint protection and threat prevention solution has achieved a ‘Recommended’ rating after participating in the NSS Labs 2019 Advanced Endpoint Protection (AEP) Test.
NSS Labs, a globally recognized and trusted source for independent, fact-based cybersecurity testing, gave a ‘recommended’ rating to Check Point’s SandBlast Agent solution for detecting 100% of HTTP and email threats, and 100% of malware using sophisticated evasion techniques, while giving zero false positives. It is Check Point’s 18th ‘Recommended’ rating since NSS Labs began testing its solutions in 2010, further validating Check Point’s ability to protect organizations against even the most advanced cyber-attacks.
“Organizations are now facing the fifth generation of cyber-attacks, which are fast-moving and evasive across multiple vectors. As such, they need to adopt a prevention-focused approach to block even unknown attacks from the outset, before they can inflict any damage,” said Itai Greenberg, VP, Product Management, Check Point Software Technologies. “We believe that this NSS ‘Recommended’ test result for Check Point’s endpoint protection solution exemplifies our focus on developing and providing the most advanced threat prevention technologies.”
