Check Point Fellow, Robert Hinden and Chief Security Officer at VeriSign, Danny McPherson, will be discussing the security implications of deploying IPv6, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. PT at Moscone Center, Room 307, in San Francisco, California.

Robert Hinden is a Check Point Fellow, as well as the chair of the IAOC and the IPv6 (6MAN) working group at the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). He was also the co-recipient of the 2008 IEEE Internet Award for pioneering work in the development of the first Internet routers. Hinden has worked on the Internet since its early days as a DARPA research project to the current Internet, seeing threats evolve from elementary hacking attempts to the sophisticated and coordinated cybercrime attacks that are widespread today. |
